Big news in boy bands and dipping sauces this morning.
McDonald’s begins a promotion to serve K-pop band BTS’s favorite meal in stores here Wednesday.
The meal — 10-piece chicken nuggets, medium fries and a Coke — also comes with dipping sauces based on ones served in South Korea.
Sweet Chili and Cajun nugget-dippin’ sauces are available for a limited time.
The sweet-chili sauce may not have the pop-cultural significance of McDonald’s Szechuan sauce, but it’s cult enough to have taste-alike recipes on the internet. It was previously available from 2010-2014.
The Cajun sauce is more of a mystery, but this guy on Twitter says its like the discontinued Habanero Ranch sauce.
