After Eddie Garcia was hired as Dallas’ chief of police and commander of the northeast division Robert Arredondo moved to Victoria, Texas to become their chief, the substation at Audelia and Northwest Highway has welcomed new leaders at multiple levels. You can meet the new command staff May 11 at a welcome party at Flag Pole Hill.

Officer Bervin Smith will have sandwiches and hot dogs at the 5:30-7 p.m. event, with ice cream and mini Bundt cakes for dessert. Citizens are encouraged to bring questions about public safety and share specific concerns about our LH neighborhoods. RSVP to bervin.smith@dpd.ci.dallas.tx.us.
