Vanessa Peters has a new single out in anticipation of her upcoming album Modern Age.
The Lake Highlands native and LHHS graduate released the single “Modern Age” on March 26 with Dallas-based Idol Records.
The 11-track album Modern Age will be available globally on vinyl, CD and all digital/streaming platforms on April 23. The album can be pre-ordered on Peter’s Bandcamp page.

Peters is known for sounds that range from indie-pop to alt-country to 70s singer/songwriter rock. But for the upcoming album, Peters has stripped songwriter pretenses away for a more modern/classic rock sound, according to her website.
The album’s first single “Crazymaker” came out in February.
