The Dallas Arboretum will resume its outdoor concert series this spring after canceling last year because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Dallas City Council approved the Arboretum’s plan to organize the concerts with reduced capacity and COVID-19 precautions at the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn overlooking White Rock Lake. Lawn capacity will be capped at 50 percent to allow for social distancing. Guests will sit in squares drawn on the lawn, and they must wear face coverings for the duration of their visit. High beach chairs, tables and multiple bags and coolers will not be allowed.

“Don’t miss the opportunity to see some of DFW’s favorite bands perform in one of the most beautiful places in Dallas,” said Kristi Trail, director of public events for the Arboretum. “We’ve taken several measures to comply to guidelines to ensure that we could reopen safely and are ready to welcome you.”
