A man was found dead from a gunshot wound outside the door to his apartment near Forest and Audelia early Sunday morning, Dallas police said.
Officers were called to the Oasis Apartments in the 9600 block of Forest Lane at 6:21 a.m. Sunday, police said. When they arrived, they found Timothy Alfred Nelson, 54, lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. Dallas-Fire Rescue pronounced Nelson dead at the scene.
Officers arrested Titia Green, 41, later that day and charged her with murder. She is being held at the Dallas County Jail.
