As of end-of-day Tuesday, there are 58 active coronavirus cases among Richardson ISD students and employees in the Lake Highlands feeder pattern.
This is a 15-case increase since students returned to classes for the spring 2021 semester a week ago.
RISD has reported the number of lab-confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 at each school and central location since the school year began Aug. 19.
As of 4:39 p.m. Jan. 12, there are 172 active student cases, a 31-case increase from last week. There are 63 active employee cases districtwide, a seven-case increase since last week.
RISD has had a total of 1,059 student cases and 474 employee cases since the start of the school year.
