The Dallas Symphony Orchestra and The Concert Truck are bringing mobile music concerts to the neighborhood this holiday season.

Concert pianists Susan Zhang and Nick Luby started The Concert Truck in 2016 to bring classical chamber music directly into communities across the United States. Their collaboration with the DSO this year will feature musicians from the performing arts organization and other local arts organizations.

From mid-November through mid-December, the 45- to 60-minute concerts will be free to attend and held outdoors while audiences and performers maintain distance. Here’s when The Concert Truck and the DSO are coming to and near Lake Highlands: 

  • Nov. 23 at 6:30 p.m. at Medical City Dallas, 7777 Forest Lane
  • Dec. 3-4 at 6 p.m. at NorthPark Center in the Neiman Marcus Garden, 8687 N. Central Expressway 
  • Dec. 6 at 4 p.m. at NorthPark Center in the Neiman Marcus Garden, 8687 N. Central Expressway 
  • Dec. 16 at 3 p.m. at The Landon at Lake Highlands, 8501 Lullwater Drive
  • TBA The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, 8525 Garland Road
