After you vote today, the Lake Highlands High School drill team invites you to stop by Taco Joint for some Tex-Meditation. While you relax and rewind with queso y cervezas, the restaurant will kick back a percentage of sales to the Highlandettes.

Election Spirit Night runs from 3-9 p.m., and the Dettes benefit whether you dine in, carry out or eat on the patio overlooking Lakeridge Village’s outdoor park. You may view the full Taco Joint menu here. Taco Joint is at Audelia and Walnut Hill.

Highlandette Captain Alice White is likely to be greeting guests at Taco Joint, along with newly-crowned Homecoming Queen Maggie Moseley. The girls will take the home field Friday when the Wildcats face Pearce in their push for a district championship. Go Cats!
