Alamo Drafthouse closed four movie theaters in North Texas due to COVID-19.
The Alamo Drafthouses in Denton, Las Colinas, North Richland Hills and Cedars are temporarily shuttered.
The Lake Highlands location, the first of the Dallas-Fort Worth theaters to reopen, and Richardson location remain open.
Alamo’s theaters closed in the middle of March, and they didn’t reopen on May 1 when Gov. Greg Abbott’s executive order allowed movie houses to reopen.
Alamo Drafthouse reopened all six theaters one week late in August. It is unknown when the other four locations will reopen.
