2020 Wildcat football schedule

Purchasing season tickets to Wildcat football games is a decades-long tradition in Lake Highlands, but this year it’s just one more casualty of the ‘Rona. The Wildcat Club announced this week that season tickets for the 2020 season will not be sold, and attendance at games will be limited to 50% of stadium capacity.

“Per the UIL COVID-19 risk mitigation guidelines, Richardson ISD may allow spectators to attend games, contests, or events within a maximum 50% capacity limitation, provided that appropriate spacing between spectators is maintained according to protocol,” shared Wildcat Club officials on Facebook. In addition, all attendees must wear masks, family groups should remain 6 feet from other groups, and pathways should remain unobstructed.

The announcement did not include instructions for purchasing individual tickets but stressed that RISD’s number one priority is enabling parents and guardians of student athletes and performers to attend the games. Current season ticket reservations will be honored next year, the note said.
