A man was fatally shot while trying to enter an apartment on Aug. 23, NBC reports.
Officers responded around 1 a.m. to the Villas Del Solamar Apartments in the 8300 block of Park Lane, where a 19-year-old had been shot. The man tried to enter an apartment, and the tenant tried to stop him from getting in. The resident shot the man and killed him.
