The rowing season is starting and there are two teams that rowers can join in Lake Highlands.
White Rock Rowing
White Rock Rowing is looking to add new rowers to the team from the Lake Highlands area. They are hosting an informational meeting for Thursday, Aug. 13 at 5:30 p.m. for the high school team and 7:30 p.m. for the middle school team. Masks and social distancing will be involved. Find more info here.
Dallas United Crew
“Winning a race is exhilarating, but the existential rhythm of eight souls moving in unison indescribable.” Experience it yourself by visiting Dallas United Crew’s Facebook page. Fall sign-ups have started, and they are still registering for youth, adult and adaptive rowing. One week trials are available, and rowing earns RISD-approved off-campus PE credit.
