A murder suspect was arrested in Franklin County hours after a deadly shooting at The View at Lake Highlands Apartments Tuesday morning.
The man was arrested in Franklin County, which is about an hour and a half away from the shooting location, in the victim’s stolen car on unrelated charges. Police found the victim’s belongings in the car.
He agreed to speak with detectives and was charged with capital murder. A warrant was issued, and his bond hasn’t been set.
The victim was Derion Johnson. The 25-year-old was found dead in an apartment from multiple gunshot wounds.
