Project Safe Neighborhood officers arrested three people four days after an aggravated robbery. At the time of the arrest, they were found with drugs, according to DPD.
An aggravated robbery was committed in the 9500 block of Forest Lane on July 22.
Project Safe Neighborhood officers worked with a robbery detective to obtain video footage of the robbers and their vehicle.
Four days later, the officers located the car driving near Forest Lane at Skillman Street. Undercover officers followed the vehicle until the driver pulled into a parking lot where the driver and two passengers were arrested by uniformed officers.
Officer confiscated a handgun, cocaine, marijuana and ecstasy tablets. All three people were questioned by detectives. They were arrested and charged with the following:
- Aggravated Robbery
- Possession of Controlled Substance, Unauthorized Carrying of a Weapon
- Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance
Project Safe Neighborhood officers also helped arrest a man for domestic violence.
Family violence detectives sent out a wanted person bulletin on July 26.

Undercover officers working with Project Safe Neighborhood found the suspect on July 27. Uniformed officers were able to arrest the 57-year-old man for aggravated assault and family violence.
