Dave & Busters on North Central Expressway was one of the 11 Texas locations reopened last week.
The franchise has been closed for six weeks due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The six-week closures pulled revenue down 56% year-over-year to $159.8 million and resulted in a loss of $43.5 million for the three-month period ending on May 3, Dallas News reports.
The company expects to open 90% to 95% of stores open by the end of July.
“Each of the reopened stores has implemented extensive incremental cleaning and sanitation procedures, new seating and game configurations to promote social distancing, and a temporarily condensed food and beverage menu,” states a press release.
The company reports the reopened stores are turning a profit even though they have extra expenses for COVID-related sanitation.
