Protesters are organizing a march today/Tuesday near the Dallas Police Department’s northeast substation at Northwest Highway and Audelia. The activists are expected to demonstrate their anger at the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis and their desire for change in the law enforcement system.
Demonstrators are planning to park in the Norbuck parking lot before walking to the areas around Flag Pole Hill and the DPD from 1-5 p.m. to stage their protest. It is not known whether the group plans to shut down traffic as others have done in previous protests in Dallas, but travelers should be advised.
