Bridgett Hudson is seeking election for RISD Board of Trustees’ At Large place 6.
Hudson filed just hours before the deadline. She will be running against Eric Eager. The position is currently filled by Board President and trustee Justin Bono who announced he’s not running for re-election last month.
Hudson currently works as an 8th grade teacher at Ann Richards STEAM Academy. She received her Master of Education from SMU and her undergraduate degree from Anderson University.
The at-large seat is one of two positions voted on by residents from the entire school district. Early voting is April 20 through April 28. Election day is May 2.
