This past Friday, Adrienne Chance, senior director of corporate communications for Borden confirmed that the company had signed a lease for the entire 14th floor at Lake Highlands Tower.

The space will be home to the Borden Business Support Center and house 150 employees. Chance could not confirm the headquarters move, saying only that it was a pending transaction in active discussion, according to Dallas Business Journal.

Borden Dairy filed for bankruptcy, making it the second major milk producer to file for bankruptcy in the last two months.

Borden said it filed for bankruptcy because it cannot afford its debt load and its pension obligations. It has 3,300 employees, 22% of whom are covered by a collective bargaining agreement, according to CNN.
