Dallas Police officer Joseph M. George died on Tuesday, Dec. 24 after injuries he sustained from an off-duty car accident Sunday.
George was driving at a high speed before his vehicle crashed into a tree near White Rock Lake. On Thursday, police officials were still looking for a white Suzuki coupe they believe was racing with the officer on Sunday, according to Dallas News.
George was a four-year veteran of the department. He worked at the Northeast patrol division.
The investigation is still ongoing.
