Sable Ridge Condominium fire
The City of Dallas is working with the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army and other agencies and churches to aid families displaced by Wednesday’s fire at the Sable Ridge Condominiums on Abrams near Skillman. The 3-alarm blaze there began before 1 a.m. and sent families scrambling out of windows and running into parking lots in their pajamas.
No one was injured in the fire, but 90 firefighters couldn’t save the building and it had to be demolished. The 90 residents who escaped lost everything.
