DPD officers at National Night Out

Police officers from Dallas’ Northeast Division don’t spend much time sitting around – they stay busy answering calls, solving crime and interacting with the Lake Highlands community. When they do return to the substation at Northwest Highway and Audelia, though, they have a little issue. Their office chairs are old and torn.

Board members from the Exchange Club of Lake Highlands found a vendor willing to replace the 50 chairs at cost for $100 each, and they’ve created an GoFundMe page inviting the LH community to help cover the cost.

The fundraiser isn’t an official ECLH effort (red tape, schmed tape), but if your family or group would like to support local police officers, you may click here to donate. The officers who stand ready to protect your home and family tonight thank you.
