The drumline from Lake Highlands High School competed in the Lone Star Classic in Flower Mound last weekend, earning first place in their division. They were also honored as Best Snare Line, Best Tenor Line and Best Front Ensemble among other strong competitors.
The team dedicated their performance to RISD students still in need after the devastating tornadoes which tore through Dallas and Richardson two weeks prior to the competition. Many families are still displaced, and you can make a donation to aid them here.
