Sophia Miller (#15) at Brown University

Lake Highlands High grad Sophia Miller has been named Ivy League Rookie of the Week for the second time this season after leading her Brown University volleyball team to victory against Harvard and Dartmouth.

Miller, an outside hitter, posted 24 kills, 17 digs and two aces in the Bears 3-2 win over Harvard and 13 kills and 18 digs in their 3-1 defeat of Dartmouth. The freshman was equally as impressive in the team’s Oct. 21 defeat of Columbia at home.

Brown heads to New York to play Columbia tomorrow at 7 p.m. and Cornell at 5 p.m. Saturday.
