Dallas Police of the Northeast Division will host their annual Health and Safety Fair Saturday, with free services and gifts for children of all ages. The cops will distribute free turkeys, kids’ coats and flu shots, and health care professionals will administer health, vision and hearing screenings. They’ll give bike helmets to keep kids safe while riding the neighborhood, and In N Out Burger will provide a free lunch.
The Health and Safety Fair will be held Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lake Highlands Junior High. Officer Mitchell Gaston is available for questions at Mitchell.Gaston@dallascityhall.com.
