A tornado, first spotted near Love Field at about 9 p.m. Sunday, passed through our neighborhood on a northeastern trajectory.

Jacob told WFAA this view is looking toward Walnut Hill and Skillman.

Photojournalist Mike Ortiz tweeted this pic of the Home Depot at Forest Lane and Central Expressway.

The storm took out power in 52,000 homes in Dallas, and a total of 87,000 in North Texas.

The twister collapsed an industrial building on Harry Hines at Walnut Hill and caused widespread damage in North Dallas, Preston Hollow and all the way across to Richardson, crossing the intersection of Interstate 635 and Central Expressway. There are reports of tree and roof damage, downed power lines and overturned cars.

So far, no serious injuries have been reported, and we hope everyone is OK out there!
