White Rock resident Karen Soltero married a man who is 16 years younger than her at a the Royal Oaks Country Club on July 13.
Soltero’s 28-year-old husband, Andres Peña, also happens to have the same surname as that of her sister’s murderer.
So the two took her husband’s mother’s maiden name, Castaño.
The couple’s wedding was featured in the New York Times this past weekend.
