Hubert Warren, 50, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

DART officers were notified about 10 a.m. Sunday that a man had been bitten and attacked with a metal pipe at the DART station at Forest Lane near 75. The victim pointed out where his assailant had fled, and an officer detained Warren. Warren admitted fighting with the other man and biting off the tip of his finger, which was found by officers “unattached from his person,” according to the arrest warrant affidavit.

Warren remained in the Dallas County jail Tuesday, with bail set at $5,000. He is also accused of violating his probation for a 2015 harassment case in which he spat on a DART officer.
