On a typical Tuesday-morning jog, a jogger finishing his route along White Rock Lake discovered a body floating in the water. The body was discovered at 6 a.m. near the 1100 block of East Lawther Drive. The witness was intrigued by what he believed to be a pair of tennis shoes floating in the lake, but after getting a closer look, appeared to be a dead man.
According to officials at the scene, the body appears to be a white man in his 70s. At this time, they are not suspecting foul play. Dallas Fire-Rescue is at the scene removing the body.
