Lake Highlands High School’s annual Red-White spring football game is not just for football fans – it’s the closest thing we have to an all-community gathering, and everyone in Lake Highlands, Texas is invited.

Before the game kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday, outgoing players will be introduced wearing T-shirts from the college where they’ll attend in the fall; and at halftime cheerleaders, Highlandettes, Bell Boys and band members will break away to officially pass the torch to next year’s leaders.

Bring your Kleenex.

The Wildcat Club will host bounce houses and an obstacle course for little ones, and the Exchange Club will host a free hot dog picnic on the turf following the game. Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for students and will be sold at the door.
