Remedy at the LH Town Center
Grab your blanket and beach chairs, friends, it’s time again for Sundays in the Park at the Lake Highlands Town Center.
This month’s event will feature Remedy – Prescription Strength Entertainment, the pop/rock/oldies band featuring Greg Smith, Bill Barfoot, Gary Krumbholz, Lee Malan and Derek Cheek. At their free outdoor concert, you’ll hear covers from musicians as diverse as Justin Timberlake, the Rolling Stones, the Gin Blossoms and Pharrell.
Pack a picnic dinner or grab something to go from the Kona Ice truck or nearby restaurants like Taco Diner, Fish City Grill, Jersey Mike’s, Sprouts or Yogurtland. The concert runs from 5 to 7 p.m. June 2 in the outdoor amphitheater.

Blogger CAROL TOLER and her husband, Toby, are the parents of four LHHS graduates. She has an MBA from SMU and is the proud recipient of the Exchange Club of LH's Unsung Hero Award and Councilman McGough's Blake Anderson Public Service Award. She received LHHS PTA's Extended Service Award, FMJH PTA's Charger Award and a Life Membership from the LHFC PTA. She has moderated candidate debates for Dallas Mayor, Dallas City Council and RISD Trustee races and taught seminars on garnering publicity for nonprofits. She completed training with Dallas Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation and Inside RISD, and she's a sustaining member of LH Women's League.
