If you’re hankering for a fish sandwich, you may have to grab your rod and reel. Captain D’s, which only opened at Timber Creek Crossing in the summer of 2017, has closed.

Captain D’s is a national chain out of Nashville owned by the same folks who brought us Grandy’s fried chicken. The Captain D’s at Northwest Highway and Skillman previously housed a Del Taco, and that fast food chain didn’t fare well there, either.

Currently at Timber Creek, restaurants include a McAlister’s Deli, a Whataburger, a Cici’s Pizza and a Chick-fil-A. Dickey’s Barbecue closed there in 2017. We’ll let you know if something new sets up shop soon.
