Now is the time to peruse mid-century moderns, traditional farmhouses and quaint cottage-style homes. The Lake Highlands Home Tour is slated Saturday, March 30 from 1-5 p.m., with an auction and after-party at 7 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Lake Highlands Early Childhood PTA.
We featured the event in our April edition but also wanted to provide home tour hobbyists a list of this year’s houses. Additional details are available here.
- 10809 Villa Haven: This three-bedroom, two-bathroom ranch has plenty of distinct details, such as quartz countertops, porcelain floors and a coffee bar.
- 10219 Church: Late architect Tom Greico designed this modern house, which has plenty of natural light and high ceilings.
- 9440 Brentgate: Check out this mid-century modern’s fireplace, kitchen and home office.
- 9536 Highedge: Designer Sarah Platt added personal touches to this five-bedroom home.
- 8730 Thunderbird: Originally 1,650 square feet, this 3,250-square-foot house’s highlights include a panoramic folding door, a dog house tucked under the stairs and an expansive backyard.
- 8710 Thunderbird: Constructed in 1959, this mid-century modern has been renovated twice. As you wander through each room, pay attention to the pitched ceilings and plethora of windows.
