Weltzin Garcia Mireles was reported missing Tuesday shortly after police filed a domestic assault warrant against her 28-year-old boyfriend Alfonso Roderick Hernandez, according to the Dallas Morning News. Hernandez fled and hasn’t been seen since.

Mireles’ cellphone last pinged at the White Rock Lake area, and authorities searched the area with police dogs and helicopters. Police discovered Hernandez’s empty car but did not find the missing couple, the Morning News reported.

Atziry Mireles, the missing woman’s sister, said in a Facebook post she thinks the couple might have fled in another vehicle. She also said Hernandez sent a goodbye text to his family before vanishing.

The Facebook page “Help Us Find Weltzin” continues to post updates on the family’s search. The family requests that people use the hashtag #HelpUsFindWeltzin when posting on social media.

The couple have a 6-year-old girl and 3-year-old boy, who are living with Mireles’ sister.
