Coach Don Tatum wins 200th game
The Lady Wildcats celebrated Coach Don Tatum’s 200th career girls’ soccer win Friday night with a shutout over district rival Berkner at Wildcat Stadium. Tatum has coached the team since 2014.
Tatum, who coached at Skyline before replacing Misty Benson here at Lake Highlands, was named District Coach of the Year in his first year at LHHS.
Cosy Carroll, Kenzie Hale, Brooke Scoggins and Shiloh Breedlove all scored in the 4-0 defeat of Berkner, and the JV red and white teams both won in shutouts, as well. You can catch the Lady Wildcats Tuesday at Duncanville or at home Friday at 7:30 p.m. against Pearce. Go Cats!
