Stolen car crashes into home on McCree
The driver of a stolen car crashed into a house in the 11000 block of McCree at Wickersham Wednesday night about 11:30. The home was vacant, so no one was hurt inside.
Dallas Police observing the car discovered it was stolen and began following it until the driver sped away. Officers opted not to give chase, but received reports about the crash minutes later. The car thief ran away before police arrived. The stolen car was totaled in the crash.
