Humperdinks on Greenville Avenue
After more than 40 years helping Dallas get their drink on, Humperdinks Restaurant and Brewpub on Greenville Avenue will close their doors after celebrating the Super Bowl Sunday night. Employees say they expect to be “slammed” (super-busy) on game night, but Monday morning, it’s so-long to the Greenville Avenue restaurant with the funny name. The Arlington and Bachman-area locations will remain open, but the Addison spot closed in May of 2017.
Known for their Cheeseburger Royale, Jucy Lucy Bacon Burger, breakfast all day and pizza made from brewing grains, Humperdinks has entertained generations of Dallasites. Beers brewed in-house had names sure to generate a snicker, like Buttface Amber Ale, Total Disorder Porter and Humpday IPA. You can view their full menu here.
Humperdinks is located at 6050 Greenville Avenue between Caruth Haven and Southwestern. They close at midnight Sunday.
