Lady Wildcats celebrate at their playoff game at Coppell

The volleyball playoffs came to an end Tuesday night in Coppell for the Bi-District Champion Wildcats, but they (and their legion of fans) have something new to cheer about after a winning season.

Sophia Miller was named District 8-6A Co-MVP, and Micah Stiggers was named Defensive Player of the Year. Brooke Bateman, Sarah Machaj and Alex Roquemore earned 1st team All District honors. Maclane Cadenhead, Anna Hughes and Finley Sims were named 2nd team, and Pam Patterson, Cassidy Landis and Abbey Machaj were honorable mention.

Academic All District honors went to Brooke Bateman, Pam Patterson, Anna Hughes, Sarah Machaj, Sophia Miller, Haley Ephraim, Abbey Machaj and Finley Sims.
