Highlandette Garage Sale
The Highlandettes are planning their annual mega-jumbo garage sale this month, so they’re hoping you’ll dig through every closet for gently-used treasures to donate.
Shoppers will find furniture, housewares, electronics, sporting goods, and, with this many glam young women and their moms contributing, lots of handbags, jewelry, and clothing.
The sale will be held Saturday, August 18th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Lake Highlands High School gym. You can shop early on Friday from 8-10 p.m. for a $5 donation – a bargain for first access to donations from the 50+ team members and community contributors.

Blogger CAROL TOLER and her husband, Toby, are the parents of four LHHS graduates. She has an MBA from SMU and is the proud recipient of the Exchange Club of LH's Unsung Hero Award and Councilman McGough's Blake Anderson Public Service Award. She received LHHS PTA's Extended Service Award, FMJH PTA's Charger Award and a Life Membership from the LHFC PTA. She has moderated candidate debates for Dallas Mayor, Dallas City Council and RISD Trustee races and taught seminars on garnering publicity for nonprofits. She completed training with Dallas Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation and Inside RISD, and she's a sustaining member of LH Women's League.
