Suzanne, Samantha and David Silva present Will Haskins with the Austin Silva Character Award

At their recent banquet, the Lake Highlands High School Wildcat Wranglers presented end-of-year awards to outstanding members of their country-and-western dance and stunt team. New this year was the Austin Silva Character Award, named for the boy who died during routine wisdom tooth extraction last summer and never had a chance to enjoy his own senior year dancing on the team. All 2017-18 performances were dedicated to him, and the team resolved to “live like Austin.”
