More than 50 employers will stand ready to make on-the-spot offers at the Lake Highlands Public Improvement District (LHPID) Teen Job Fair Saturday, May 5 from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the LHHS gym. Besides a handy paycheck, students who work are less likely to get into trouble over the summer and are more likely to earn the scholarship, internship or next job they are seeking. They also acquire job skills and work ethic, and collect people who can vouch for their abilities and character.
