The Austin Silva Memorial Fund will distribute to causes and commitments meaningful to the talented Wildcat Wrangler and tennis captain, including the Camp Barnabas Foundation, Mission of Hope Haiti and LHHS organizations.

The Austin Silva Memorial Fund received its first major gift April 13 from the Wildcat baseball team, as senior players and parents joined Coach Andy Parker on the diamond to present the Silvas with a $2,500 check. Another $825 was raised through food and beverage sales at the Cat Shack during the game.

The Highlandettes added to the fund’s total this past weekend, contributing $1,000 to honor Austin during the team’s annual Revue.

If you’d like to participate, tax deductible donations may be made to The Austin Silva Memorial Fund at LiveLikeAustin.com. Facilitated by the National Christian Foundation, the fund will distribute to organizations that Austin believed in and will keep his memory alive. Checks payable to National Christian Foundation and designated Austin Silva Memorial Fund may be mailed to NCF, 11625 Rainwater Drive, Suite 500, Alpharetta, GA 30009.
