Frank Okam coaching Rice Owls football
Former Wildcat standout Franklin Okam – known as Big Frank while he played at Lake Highlands High – is reportedly headed to Waco to become Baylor football’s defensive line coach. Okam coached the D-line for Rice University in 2016 and 2017 and is finishing a master’s degree there.
Okam graduated in the top 5 percent of his LHHS class in 2004 and was a starter for the 2005 Longhorn team that won the national championship. He was drafted by the Houston Texans in 2008 and later played for the Seahawks and Bucs.
Congratulations Big Frank, and Sic ‘em!
