Put your culinary creativity to the test making a collection of chocolate recipes at the Dallas Arboretum on February 11 at 1 p.m. Tickets to the chocolate lovers event run between $60-$65.

The teen scene players present “Screen Play” at the Dallas Children’s Theater. The show explores the consequences that come from teens being addicted to their phones and blurring the lines between real life and life online. “Screen Play” premiers February 9 at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $16.

Coloring books are on the rise as a way for adults to de-stress. Come relax over some colored pencils, light refreshments and conversation at Audelia Road Library Auditorium on February 10 at 2 p.m. Materials will be provided, but patrons are welcome to bring their own as well.

Help keep the park safe and clean for animals and children by picking up trash during For The Love of The Lake’s second Saturday shoreline spruce up. Stop by February 10 from 8 a.m.- 12 p.m. and the organization will provide all the materials needed during registration in their office.

Give your kids their moment in the spotlight at the Dallas Elks Lodge #71 Youth Beauty Pageant on February 10 from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Kids can participate in the glitz pageant or natural pageant and all entrants will receive a crown. There will also be door prizes, food and vendors.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day early and create your own masterpiece at TreeHouse in a guiding painting class taught by a local artist on February 10 from 10-11 a.m. Sip sustainably sourced wines and craft beer from Bar & Garden Dallas. Tickets are $35 a person.

Lake House Bar & Grill is teaming up with ImpactMS Now for Kiss Goodbye to MS, a fundraiser to support research to cure Multiple Sclerosis. Stop by February 11-14, make a donation and receive a “kiss.” Each donation gets you an entry into a drawing for a signed picture of Dallas Stars player Jason Spezza and a Community Beer brewery package. If you stop by on February 11, Community Beer will donate $3 for every Texas Helles purchased.
