A recent Senior Listening Session in District 6

Jeri Baker has navigated the complicated system of City Hall’s programs for seniors, and she’s anxious to share what she’s learned. Baker, appointed by Councilman Adam McGough in 2015 as District 10’s Senior Services Commissioner, will host a Listening Session for Seniors Tuesday, January 16th at 10 a.m. at the Audelia Road Library.

Lake Highlands seniors may be missing out on great programs, she says, including medical transportation, dental health, access to a senior ombudsman, employment opportunities, Operation Watershare and Texas Ramp Project Partnership. She’ll have information on these and other city services and answer questions in the library’s big meeting room. The event is free and open to the public.
