Are you a fan of fish dinners and new restaurants in Lake Highlands? While you were icing Christmas cookies and wrapping presents, Fish City Grill reps say they’ve made serious progress with construction at their new Town Center location. An expected mid-January opening means you’ll no longer have to travel to Snider Plaza’s Half Shells, their sister store, or the Preston Royal Fish City for their fried dill pickles, roasted jalapeno soup, shrimp & grits or homemade bread pudding.

You can check out Fish City’s full menu here, including appetizers, salads, soups, shrimp, catfish, oysters, crab, sandwiches, desserts, cocktails and wine. You may follow their construction progress and learn details about opening day on their Facebook page here.

Fish City will be located at Skillman and Walnut Hill, on the corner between Jersey Mike’s and Taco Diner.
