The Wildcat women’s soccer team is eager for a rematch with alums
If you’re an alum of the Lady Wildcats soccer program, it’s time to shine up your cleats. For the second year in a row, alums will face current players in a match Saturday, Dec. 30th at 2 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
The game originated last year during festivities to celebrated 40 years of Wildcat soccer. Participants found it such a hoot that they designated the game a new tradition. The alums won the game, but they stoked a fire in the girls, who now clamor for a rematch.
If you’d like to be on the team, email soccer mom Elizabeth Leal at epleal@aol.com. The match is free and open to the public.
