Lonnie Jordan, Whataburger Coach of the Week
When you see Lonnie Jordan at Friday’s playoff game, give him an extra high five. The Wildcat head football coach was named Whataburger Coach of the Week by the Dallas Cowboys.
Jordan earned a $2,000 grant from the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Foundation and Whataburger for the Wildcat football program. The honor came after a week-long online voting campaign.
Jordan’s Wildcats face Sachse High Friday night at 7:30 at Williams Stadium in Garland. The Mustangs are undefeated in district play, but the Wildcat offense finished 2nd in the area with 4614 total yards and 461 yards per game. Go Cats!
