Known as Mr. A to his 5th grade students at Northlake and to an entire campus of Skyview kids who adored him as their music teacher before his move to Northlake this year, Aeschbacher was pivotal in securing Skyview’s Outdoor Harmony Garden in 2016. He energized Richardson ISD’s Invention Convention program, and he creates lessons that are engaging, fun and memorable.

Also receiving honors were five other educators recognized for their passion, enthusiasm and dedication. Each will receive $250 and each school will receive $100.

You can send words of congratulations to Aeschbacher and follow him via his educational Twitter account, @PapaBacher, where he blogs, tweets and hosts chats with educators from around the world.

Congrats, Mr. A!
