It’s clear from his Facebook page that Braxton Brock loved motorcycles. Sadly, he died last Thursday while riding a motorcycle in a hit-and-run accident, according to his obituary. But his death saved others.
“His donation of organs was able to help many people,” says family friend Maureen Martin Hayter.
Brock was a 2014 graduate of Lake Highlands High School, and spent his teen years working at Albertson’s. As an adult, he showed his skills as a mechanic with Lattimore Materials Company.
He is survived by his parents, Christian and Melissa Howell, along with his little brother Colt, a LHHS rising senior, and sister Katsie Rane, an incoming sophomore.
Funeral services are set for Thursday, Aug. 17, at Winfrey Point from 6-8:30 p.m. Attendees are invited to wear blue, his favorite color.
