LHHS graduate Haley Harman is now a member of the Red Raider volleyball team
Texas Tech volleyball opens its 2017 season at the Barcelona HBU Classic Friday in Houston, and Monday they noted the occasion by introducing Haley Harman, Red Raider freshman and Lake Highlands High grad, on their Facebook page. Harman will play outside and right side hitter on the squad.
You can view the short video on the team’s page here.
Harman, who played on the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Champion team, received praise from Tech coach Tom Graystone after last week’s Red and Black Scrimmage.
“Haley has shown a lot of strength and toughness, and I’m looking forward to seeing how her talent and character impacts our program.”
Tech plays Northern Kentucky Friday at 1:30 p.m., then Houston Baptist at 7. You can view the Red Raiders full schedule here.
